Have anybody ever read some english books? I recently started to read Three men in a boat by Jerome K Jerome and have much fan from it.

Hi, everybody! Recently I finished reading of the last volume of "Adventures of Sherlock Holmes". I also read "Three men in a boat", "Three men on wheels" and "Collected stories" by Jerome K. Jerome. Moreover I read "Detective stories" by Agatha Christie.

At first, it is difficult. I agree. But afterwards it will become very facile. You have only begin.

Hi everybody. It's not too difficult if U try to read "graded reader". F.e. 'Sherlock Holmes. Short Stories. Selected and sinplified' by Longman. But one can't do it well if he tries to read an original text. It was rather difficult to going into Dickens or Twain's humour. Troubles arise usually with unknown words and idioms.

good dictionary can help with dif words and idioms^^
